As Election Day looms, Bryan Cranston , known for his iconic role as Walter White in Breaking Bad , has voiced strong support for Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz . The 68-year-old actor over the weekend, passionately urged voters to join him in supporting the Democratic ticket .
Cranston used a familiar phrase from his Breaking Bad character, delivering his call to action with a blend of drama and fervour. "I am the one who knocks on doors," he declared, referencing his famous line, before Adam Schiff chimes in saying, “On doors? Here in Nevada. For Jackie Rosen, for Kamala Harris, for the whole Democratic ticket."
"We've only got 10 days to go. We need your help. Contribute. Help us go knocking on doors, and we can have a new beginning. We're not going back. We're not going back. Ten days. Let's do it." Cranston added.
Earlier, during a rally Cranston talked about his commitment to what he called "the freedom of choice," an issue he said he feels strongly about, particularly as a father. His support for Harris comes at a time when the political divide over reproductive healthcare access has intensified, making this a central theme in Harris' campaign. The actor's appeal resonated with the audience, and a video of his speech quickly went viral, sparking discussion across social media.
This endorsement is part of Harris' broader campaign strategy, which has featured high-profile appearances by figures like Michelle Obama and Beyoncé. Harris has used her platform to emphasise key issues such as women’s healthcare and the economy. In a Michigan rally over the weekend, Obama urged men to consider the impact of their votes on the women in their lives, warning that women’s rights would be at risk if Trump were re-elected.
Despite this star-studded support, Trump has dismissed Harris' focus on celebrity endorsements, contrasting her rallies with his own grassroots events across the country. At a recent event, Trump downplayed Harris' gatherings, quipping, "Kamala is at a dance party with Beyoncé,” and challenging her appeal as a serious candidate.
