People, on social media, expressed their frustration, saying, "#Bengaluru x Rain x Traffic So yesterday, I left my office in Whitefield at around 5.30 pm and reached home in Yelahanka by around 9.30 pm. That's approximately 4 hrs on the road for 30 km in rain and traffic! The day before yesterday, it was 3.5 hrs. Last week it was 3 hrs 15 mins. Six months back, it was 1 hr 45 mins. Records getting broken every day! When will this end?"

Another user which goes by the name of Karnataka Portfolio, which shares state-related updates, uploaded a video of slow-moving traffic and people walking on a flyover. The user said traffic has been standstill for over four hours, with vehicles backed up from Bommanahalli to Electronic City due to heavy rain.

ā€œBengaluruā€™s Electronics City flyover flooded and jammed for more than 4 hours yesterday left no options for commuters, techies abandon cabs to walk home The flooding of the 9.9 km-long elevated expressway from the Central Silk Board Junction to Electronics City slowed the traffic to almost a halt on the Hosur Road, forcing many to leave office cabs and buses to walk home,ā€ they wrote.
