NEW DELHI: Israel 's ambassador to India Reuven Azar on Tuesday hit out at Iran 's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei for his remarks on Muslims in India .
"You are a killer and oppressor of your own people. Muslims in Israel, India and all democracies enjoy freedom, which is denied in Iran. I wish the people of Iran will be free soon," said Azar.
Speaking on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday, Khamenei had clubbed India with Gaza while talking about Muslim sufferings across the world. India had strongly deplored the remarks.
