Nothing Ear (Open) may launch on September 24: What to expect

Carl Pei-owned Nothing is gearing up to bring a new audio device. The company has teased a new launch for September 23. While the teaser does not reveal the name of the product, it is likely to be Nothing Ear (Open).

“Out in the open. A new arrival is landing on 24.09.2024,” read the caption of the post shared by Nothing on X (formerly known as Twitter).



The teaser video shows two white loops, hinting at the company’s open earbuds.


Nothing Ear (Open) what to expect
Nothing Ear (Open) will be the company’s first open ear buds. As the name suggests, Nothing Ear (Open) will feature an open-ear design like Sony LinkBuds , Huawei Freeclip, and Bose Ultra Open. The upcoming earbuds are rumoured to come with the company’s signature transparent design.

Nothing’s audio lineup currently comprises of four products – Ear a, Ear 1, Ear 2 and Nothing Stick earbuds. The London-based company launched its first earbuds – Nothing Ear 1 in July 2021. It recently expanded the audio range with the launch of Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a). Nothing Ear is the successor of the Nothing Ear (2) and it features a new 11mm driver unit which promises to deliver an improved bass experience.On the other hand, the Nothing Ear (a) sports a new design and it comes in a vibrant Yellow colour option. The earbuds claim to offer up to 9.5 hours of battery backup on a single charge.
