Here’s all you need to know about what MVP shared on how he managed to survive being set on fire during the match

The match between MVP and Kane was highly intense and action-packed. It concluded dramatically when Kane seized MVP by the throat and shoved him into the flames, igniting his back. MVP quickly ran toward the entrance ramp, where he was promptly extinguished with fire extinguishers.

During a recent appearance at K&S Wrestle Fest, MVP reflected on the experience, describing it as terrifying. He further explained that a freezing-cold gel was applied to protect him from injury during the stunt.

MVP Stated -

“Yeah, working with Kane in the inferno match was terrifying. They set me on fire, man. I was literally on fire.

“The cool thing about it was that underneath I had, like, a flannel suit that was dumped in this like freezing cold gel, and then on top of that I had a dry one, and then the seamstress had to sew the top and bottom together, and then I had the real outfit on top.”

“That gel was so cold that my balls were, like, up in my stomach. But, when it came time to do that match and he set me on fire, that helped out a lot.” (Via K&S Wrestle Fest/Inside The Ropes)

MVP further shared that at one point, he felt like he was suffocating after inhaling the released before the flames.

MVP Added -

“But one of the crazy things about it…every time the flames go up around the ring, there’s gas that precedes the flames.

“At one point I was down selling, and right as I was taking a breath the gas came out before the flames came up and I couldn’t breathe for a few seconds. I was actually scared.” (Via K&S Wrestle Fest/Inside The Ropes)
