Steinfeld, 28, said her life as an actress is often unpredictable, while Allen, 29, follows a very set routine during the NFL season. She told Variety, “What we do is so unpredictable, and his job is on such a strict schedule. So it’s actually a blessing, I try to organize my time so I can be where he is.”

When Allen is deep in the football season, Steinfeld slows down her own projects so she can support him. “This time of year, I get to hunker down, slow down, support him and live life,” she said. “When the offseason rolls around, it’s go-time for me.”

She added that this new way of living is something she never experienced before. “I’ve gotten a lot better at understanding what it means to slow down and to share that with someone. That’s the greatest thing ever,” she explained.

Josh Allen has also shared his side. In a June 10, 2025 NFL press conference, he called marrying Hailee “the most important decision” of his life. He smiled as he said she is his biggest supporter whenever he comes home from the field.
