Derrick Henry keeps grinding as he waits for word from the Ravens—two months after admitting he wants to finish his career in Baltimore

Derrick Henry , one of the most popular and talented players in the NFL, has been kept in the dark about his future with the Baltimore Ravens . The star player signed a two year deal with the team last year for a whopping $16 million, but there have been no confirmations of a contract extension yet. But that does not mean that the star player has not been giving his best to prepare himself and his recent social media post is proof of that.

Recently, the Baltimore Ravens’ star player took to his Instagram stories to repost a picture of him training for the upcoming season of the NFL. Derrick Henry all dressed up in his black coloured workout clothes looks pretty focused as he prepares himself.

The caption for the Instagram story read as, “Always a pleasure crafting with ya King”.

While Derrick Henry has not yet opened up about his unconfirmed future with his current team, the Baltimore Ravens, he had spoken about what he wants for his future.

In February 2025, Derrick Henry appeared on Micah Parsons’ podcast, The Edge With Micah Parsons, where he spoke about how he wanted his future to look like in the NFL.

The star player said, “I want to finish my career in Baltimore. So, like, I want this to be my last stop. I’m not trying to go to another team, you know.”

But the Baltimore Ravens has not confirmed anything yet. A few days ago, the general manager of the team Evan DeCosta responded to the queries about Derrick Henry.

According to the Baltimore Ravens’ official transcript, general manager Evan DeCosta said, "We have a lot of different balls in air right now. That's probably what I would say on that.”

Evan DeCosta added, “I'm not going to talk about what we're doing [or] what we're not doing behind the scenes business-wise with these guys.”

While Derrick Henry remains silent amidst the speculations around his contract extensions with the team, he has put his complete focus on his family and preparing himself.

Recently, Derrick Henry and his girlfriend of many years, Adrianna Rivas, celebrated the birthday of their younger daughter, Celine Amor. The star player posted heartwarming pictures of his daughter and even added the words, “Dada always got you” in one of the pictures.

Apart from this, Derrick Henry also earned $1.2 million a few weeks ago after he sold his lavish house in Dallas that he had bought a few years ago, as per TMZ.
