A fan took to X and posted, “All these clowns front row meanwhile diehard fans are priced out”, while another fan commented, “I'd like to know what percentage of people in the front row of a Knicks game or Lakers game was actually born in those states and grew up fans of the team.”
A third fan posted, “I sincerely hate that the Knicks especially, along with a couple other teams make it a point to highlight which celebrities are courtside as if it means anything to the game itself”.
Another user made a sarcastic comment that read as, “Some teams have fans, the knicks have celebs!”, while a fifth fan noted, “You should have to name more than half the roster at the door to get into a playoff game. Applies to all sports.”
Another fan wrote, “Tell you right now and this is truth. If I was a multi millionaire I would buy all those front row seats or as much as I could get and give them to the real fans sitting home. You know the fans that sat here for 30 years going to the games when the team was dog sh*t.”
The high profile celebrities have remained silent despite the criticism they have received for attending last night’s match. As for the New York Knicks, they are all set to face the Boston Celtics on Wednesday evening for Game 5.
