Kolkata metro to run additional services on weekends to cater the pre-pujo rush

Anticipating heavy rush o­n weekends before the upcoming festive season, Kolkata Metro has decided to run 262 services instead of 234 o­n Saturdays i.e. o­n September 14 and September 21, and 288 services instead of 234 o­n the next two Saturdays i.e. o­n September 28 and October 5. In addition to this, 196 services instead of 130 will be running o­n Sundays September 15, 22, 29 and October 6.
