Kumkum Bhagya star Krishna Kaul hails from Jammu; and Amid the India-Pakistan conflict, the actor took to his Instagram handle to share a heartfelt message revealing how he is thankful for the Indian Defence System.
The actor shared that he had contacted his family in Jammu to enquire about their well-being amid the missile attack, and his family's response left his heart melted. He wrote, "Spoke to my family in Jammu and they can hear loud blasts in their room, can see the drones from their windows while being completely blacked out! But not once are they sounding scared with immense trust on our defence system and Modi ji. I am just very glad that we are on the right side. Thank You Indian Defence Forces."
Earlier, comedian Samay Raina, whose family also resides in Jammu, penned a heartwarming note as well. He wrote, "My father calls me one last time tonight from Jammu to say goodnight. His voice, steady and calm, urges me to sleep and not worry, the Indian armed forces have everything under control. His calmness quiets my restless thoughts. I switch off the lights in my Mumbai home and walk to the window to draw the curtains. Outside my window, my neighbour’s lights still glow. I know little about him, that’s just how it is here. I wonder if he, too, has family in Jammu, perhaps in Pathankot or if he might be the son of a brave soldier, who won’t sleep tonight, waiting for a morning call from his father on the front lines."
