Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, television's vast historical epic, continues to captivate audiences with an incredible storyline, grand visuals, and strong performances. Anuja Sathe exclusively shared whether she plans to return to TV and the kind of roles she wishes to portray.
Anuja on whether she has plans to return to TV, "No, not yet. Not on TV, no daily. I've just finished shooting for a web show, which is a very different, completely different genre. It's something in the pipeline, and I recently shot for it. So, when you're fully occupied with something like this on TV, there's no chance to shoot for another show because the demands are so high and it's very time-consuming. Therefore, it's impossible to work on another TV show. However, of course, there are different mediums you can explore, and you can juggle two or three projects simultaneously."
She further reacted on what should be explored on TV in terms of content, "There are so many things that we've not done. Or I would say that now the perspective of looking towards content has already changed, and we are seeing a lot of women-centric projects coming up, and content coming up. So, I think sooner or later, I mean, it's already happening. So, I don't know who's working on what right now at this moment, but I'm sure that people want to watch something new, people want to go back to their roots, and people want to see female-centric characters on screen."
Anuja would love to see the warrior side of Bajirao, as well as explore it herself. "I have done Peshwa Bajirao with the same channel before. It was again a historical. So, I don't mind seeing Peshwa's other side instead of seeing the Bajirao-Mastani love story. But I would love to see the warrior side of Peshwa Bajirao again."
