Students who have been allotted seats in the MAH LLB 5-year CAP 2025 round 2 must report to their respective colleges by August 19 to confirm their admission. Those willing to participate in the third round are required to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000. Reporting within the given timeline is essential for seat confirmation and further participation in the admission process.
Important government guidelines and candidate eligibility for round 2
Several government notifications govern the CAP 5-year LLB admission process, including Government Extraordinary Gazettes dated May 2017, June 2019, August 2020, and June 2023. Colleges are instructed not to verify CET examination details but only the details filled in the CAP application form. Candidates must submit original caste validity certificates (CVC), tribe validity certificates (TVC), non-creamy layer certificates (NCL), and economically weaker section (EWS) certificates by the last date of Round 3 admission.
Candidates eligible for Round 2 include those allotted a seat other than their first preference who either rejected, did not report, or did not confirm their seat during Round 1, as well as those who paid the seat acceptance fee but failed to report. Candidates admitted through first preference and who confirmed their seat in Round 1 are not eligible for Round 2.
Candidates who made errors in filling SSC and HSC marks and were rejected by colleges can edit their CAP application between August 21 and August 23 for Round 3 participation. ICSE and CBSE board candidates who filled marks for five or six subjects will be considered for admission, and colleges are instructed not to reject such candidates.
