Batting first, BVS Academy were bowled out for 67 runs in 13.4 overs, with Harshit damaging the opposition by claiming five wickets for just 12 runs. In response, MUC chased down the target, scoring 71 for 2, with Harshit Shukla remaining unbeaten on 42.

Kanpur South ground – Rashtriya Youth drubbed Vedic Union by 128 runs. Rashtriya Youth scored 205 for 8 (Rishabh Gupta 42, Shafali Singh 25, Vedic Dixit 21, Roshan Singh 36 not out, Ayush Yadav 2 for 23, Vikas Pathak 2 for 39, Daksh Chaudhary 2 for 57). Vedic Union could only muster 77 (Arpit Yadav 23, Sonika Kushwaha 3 for 10, Abhay Pandey 2 for 37).
Sapru ground – Kanpur Eaglets defeated Nawabganj Athletics by 8 wickets. Nawabganj Athletics managed 73 (Lakshya Khatri 20, Ankaj Sharma 44 not out, Satyam Pandey 3 for 11, Satyaprakash Yadav 3 for 17, Mohd Raza 2 for 25). Kanpur Eaglet reached 78 for 2 (Satyam Pandey 44 not out, Krishna Pal 1 for 16).
JNT U–12 cricket: JNT group on Wednesday announced the list of 180 selected aspirants who made the cut following three days of trials, in which about 572 youngsters from 62 districts participated. Sanjay Shukla stated that the selected 180 players are from 23 districts. All selected players are to attend a three-day camp scheduled at Kanpur South ground from May 15 to 17, under the supervision of former UP Ranji trophy captain Rahul Sapru. Attendance at the camp is compulsory for all selected players. The organising committee will not consider any player for future matches who misses the camp.
