Mumbai-Doha Indigo Flight Delayed, Passengers Stuck Inside Plane for Five Hours

Mumbai: An Indigo flight from Mumbai to Doha faced a five-hour delay on Sunday morning. The flight, which was scheduled to depart at 3:55 AM, did not take off as planned. After waiting for five hours, passengers were removed from the plane and placed in the immigration waiting area.Passengers reported that the airline provided no clear explanation for the delay and did not allow them to leave the airport. Approximately 250 to 300 passengers were left stranded at Mumbai airport, with many having to wait for their luggage.The airline has announced that the flight scheduled for that day has been cancelled. Arrangements are being made to accommodate the affected passengers.''IndiGo flight 6E 1303 operating from Mumbai to Doha was delayed due to a technical reason. Our airport team immediately provided assistance to the affected customers and provided refreshments and necessary arrangements. The aircraft tried to depart for its destination a couple of times but had to finally be called off due to the extended time lag on account of various procedural delays. The customers are being provided hotels and are being rebooked as per their final destination. IndiGo sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused to its customers'', Indigo Spokesperson said.
