Republican nominee Donald Trump visited McDonald's outlet in Pennsylvania on Sunday, where he served fries and chatted with customers, sparking a social media outburst. While campaigning in Feasterville-Trevose in Philadelphia, the former president got ready to work at the outlet. Trump jokingly said, "I'm applying for a job at McDonald's right now."The former president's visit to the McDonald's restaurant comes after he criticized Vice President Kamala Harris' remarks that she worked at the fast-food outlet during college days."She shouldn't lie about it. McDonald's confirmed four times that she never worked here. But, let's not talk about that. It's an amazing business. It's an amazing country. And we're going to make America greater than ever before," Trump said. Shortly after the videos of him working at the restaurant surfaced on social media, some users wondered if McDonald's had endorsed Trump for the presidential elections. Many users said that Trump's visit to the fast-food outlet was due to a possible endorsement. A user on X commented, "McDonald's will endorse Donald Trump for President!"
Another X user criticized the visit saying, " So McDonalds is endorsing Donald Trump is what I'm gathering from this? Time to boycott...again!"So, it turns out @McDonalds is #MAGA

"So, McDonald's is officially supporting Donald Trump...", commented a third user on X. Here's the fact:Soon after the images of Trump's visit went viral, McDonald's issued an internal memo stating that it is not endorsing any political candidate for the presidential polls. "McDonald's does not endorse candidates for elected office, and that remains true in this race for president. We are not red or blue-we are golden," the memo stated.According to Associated Press, an avid Trump supporter Jim Worthington had arranged the visit through a mutual connection. The main idea behind the Republican nominee's visit was to connect with working-class people in a key battleground state. In likely the most important endorsement of the election, McDonald’s Veterans for Truth endorsed Trump tonight. pic.twitter.com/9Ea8IcFTOV
