One Direction fame Liam Payne has passed away at the age of 31. The singer-songwriter fell from the third floor of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as per local authorities in Argentina. A photo of Payne with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy went viral on social media with users saying that Payne had posted it on his Snapchat hours before his death. However, Times Now Digital can confirm that it is an old photo, taken sometime in 2023. Liam's picture with Kate Cassidy was clicked a year ago in 2023 when Liam had celebrated his 30th birthday, before he was diagnosed with a kidney infection. Cassidy was in Argentina with Payne but she had flown back to Florida two days before Liam Payne's death. Amid speculations that the two had a dispute, Cassidy posted a heartfelt tribute for Payne on social media, which contained photos from the time they were together. Here's the photo: Several people commenting on the photo pointed out that it was taken a year old. A reader's added context was added to the post which pointed to a post on X dating back to July 2023. it is likely that the photo was shared by either Cassidy or Payne back on 2023. Several people pointed out in the comments that the photo is fake. Reacting to the photo, a comment read, "fake, this pic is a year old."Another comment said, "even if the picture is old, it's the last thing he posted on his snapchat story unfortunately."

Liam Payne's Death According to the police in Argentina, it is not clear whether the fall was intentional or accidental. Other witnesses at the incident, cited by local media, stated that Liam was acting aggressively and had people carry him back to his hotel room. He had reportedly smashed his laptop too. He had previously discussed his struggle with alcohol and drugs. He had also mentioned his suicidal thoughts especially when he was on tour with One Direction in 2021. The famous singer is now survived by his parents and older sisters.
