The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025, conducted on May 25. Candidates whose roll numbers are listed in the official notification have successfully qualified to appear for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2025.
The candidature of all selected candidates is provisional, and they must complete key updates through a dedicated online window on the Commission’s official website from June 16 to June 25, 2025. Candidates are required to:
- Submit a registration fee of Rs. 200 for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2025, unless exempted—women candidates, persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), and those belonging to SC/ST categories are not required to pay.
- Submit or update details regarding scribes, assistive devices, and request for large-font question papers, if applicable.
- Provide Gazette Notification in cases of post-matriculation name changes or name mismatches between certificates and the application form.
The results of four candidates (Roll Nos. 7004555, 6305469, 6413314, and 6610122) have been withheld pending the resolution of ongoing court cases.
UPSC also informed that the marks, cutoff scores, and answer keys for the Preliminary Examination will be made available only after the final results of both the Civil Services and Indian Forest Service Examinations, 2025.
