Many people don't buy new DVDs these days, but if you still use your old ones or have them stashed away somewhere, now might be a good time to check if you have these ones, reports the .
In the times before Netflix and Amazon Prime, these DVDs were a staple for many homes.
Some presume are a thing of the past but lots of people still value having a trusty hard copy collection of their favourites.
Not every film you may want to watch is available on streaming platforms so it's good to own your favourites where possible.
Bally Casino has researched which DVDs could fetch you some cash. They also recruited collectables expert Tracy Martin to provide her expertise on recognising value and getting the most out of your items.
The most expensive is the Carry On Film Collection, which is a complete box set of all 31 films that were made over their 34-year span. The average price for the entire collection is a huge £350.
Another film set which could be worth some money is the and the Holy Grail, limited edition castle box set which could get you £300.
Blade Runner Ultimate collector's edition could also get you an impressive £300 along with The Godfather box set, worth the same amount.
Tracy said: "Collectable value can be due to rarity, different variants to the norm, oddities (misspelling on DVD cases or books), nostalgia - people buying back their memories, limited edition and basic supply and demand.
"There are so many reasons things are collectable. People don't always recognise they have things of value which is why they turn to valuers like me or do their own research online. Always research to ensure you get the best price achievable for your collectable by looking to see what similar items have sold for in the past."
Tracy suggested that finding a good selling platform is key in getting a good price for your items.
She also said it is important to make sure you start at a reasonable price for the item you are selling.
While certain DVDs have begun to make a comeback, CDs could be next to increase in value.
With the popularity of vinyls already hugely increased, it would be no surprise to see .
