took a heartwarming twist tonight as host was forced to stop the show when an unexpected emotional reaction rippled through the audience.
During Monday's episode of the much-loved series, Stephen returned to present yet another gripping game where a fortunate contestant aimed for a substantial cash triumph.
Midwife Paisley secured her chance to take on destiny in the latest edition, squaring off against the daunting banker. Initially kicking off with promise, luck seemed on Paisley's side as the insignificant 1p was eliminated early on. However, drama ensued when the top prize of £100,000 was knocked out of the running.
Staying upbeat, Paisley shrugged off the banker's deals, soldiering on with her sights set high until only five boxes remained: the trivial 10p and 50p, a modest £10, and the staggering £50,000 and £75,000, reports .
When faced with a tempting banker's offer of £16,750, Paisley chose to secure her earnings proclaiming jubilantly: "Thank you very much Mr Banker... because I'm going to be rich! Deal!"
The touching moment, she revealed her plans to spoil her parents with a luxurious cruise using the money. This prompted tears from a spectator, prompting Stephen to momentarily halt the proceedings and exclaim: "This is absolutely joyous."
Turning towards Paisley, he shared: "Sorry but can I just say, I've never seen this on anyone's game and I hope you don't mind me pointing you out but this gentleman in the back crying on your behalf. It's amazing."
Paisley was offered a comforting embrace when asked: "Aw do you want a hug?" This left the audience touched as they witnessed the heartfelt moment.
The atmosphere shifted with the sound of the phone, and Stephen humorously remarked: "Oh no the banker is not going to be happy."
He then disclosed the banker's grudge, saying: "He just told me that you're his least favourite contestant and I wonder why?"
Laughter filled the room when Stephen revealed the fortunate turn of events, adding: "Paisley this gets better and better for you because you're off on a cruise, making a dream come 'true' for you and your family. This wouldn't even buy you a dingy because your offer at this point would be £3."
Deal Or No Deal continues on weekdays at 4pm on ITV and ITV X.
