Stacey Solomon has hit out at the BAFTAs after she was nominated for two of the prestigious awards but left the event on Sunday evening empty-handed. The Sort Your Life Out star was up for two categories - entertainment performance and factual entertainment.
She missed out in the first category to Joe Lycett's Late Night Lycett on and in the second category to Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour, which airs on BBC Two. At the event, Stacey appeared not to be too bothered as she cheered on the winners despite missing out. But her comment on an Instagram post later in the evening showed how she was really feeling.
Taking to the social media platform, her co-star Dilly Carter shared an update on the show's loss. Showing a clip of the women both waving and smiling at the crowd around the red carpet, she penned: "Walking out, like we walked in, with our heads high and super proud of what we have achieved as a show, as a production. It's so easy in these moments to feel sad because we haven't won and forget about where we actually are. In a room full of incredible talent. But in the actual room."
She continued: "Some people dream of their show being nominated so for us to have been nominated twice is unreal. So let's celebrate the show and just how far it's come. It wasn't so long ago we were just filming a pilot."
Sharing congratulations for her competitors, the star added: "Huge congrats to @rylan and @robrinder. Thank you for all the love and support as always. Now let's get back to filming series 6."

However, in the comments 35-year-old Stacey shared her true feelings with three simple words. She wrote: "We were robbed," followed by three laughing face emojis. The Loose Women panellist has remained silent on her own social media account so far.
Despite the loss, Stacey still managed to turn heads at the event as she rocked up to the red carpet wearing a "very special" dress - her wedding dress. She married actor turned presenter Joe Swash in 2022 in a lavish ceremony at their Pickle Cottage home, surrounded by friends and family and the gown had been collecting dust since.
Sharing a video of it being altered to be a better fit for the red carpet, Stacey explained: "Today I'm wearing my wedding dress. It makes me so sad that this is my favourite most special dress I ever bought & I've only ever worn it once." She added that the fact she had only worn it once prompted her to ask Faye to tweak it slightly to make it red carpet ready.
