Back in 1950, Joseph L Mankiewicz directed Bette Davis, Anne Baxter and George Sanders in what would go down as one of the greatest films ever made.
All About Eve is an American drama about an aspiring actress called Eve Harrington (Baxter), who cunningly manoeuvres herself into the life of an aging, famous Broadway star named Margo Channing (Davis).
In doing so, the ambitious young woman ends up threatening the A-lister's career and relationships.
The Hollywood classic also features in one of her earliest big-screen roles.
Upon release in cinemas, All About Eve received critical acclaim and was nominated for 14 Academy Awards.
As it stands, All About Eve is the only film in history to have four female nominations across the Best Actress (Davis and Baxter) and Best Supporting Actress (Celeste Holm and Thelma Ritter) categories.
The masterpiece went on to win six Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.
All About Eve is streaming on BBC iPlayer for the next 24 days.
