Liam Payne death latest updates: Tributes pour in as ex-One Direction star dies

Former One Direction bandmate after plunging from a hotel window, reports claim. The 31-year-old was on holiday in Buenos Aires, the Argentian capital, with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy.

He reportedly fell to his death from the third floor of a hotel. A huge emergency response was seen outside of the hotel building after the fall. Police are also said to have been called to reports of a man acting aggressively.

A body is said to have been found within the internal patio area of the hotel. It's claimed Liam fell around 13 or 14 metres to his death.

City ambulance service provider spokesman Alberto Crescenti said he had suffered "severe injuries which were incompatible with life."

In a statement, the local ambulance manager told TN: "At 17.04 through the 911 integrated public safety system, we were alerted of a person who was in an internal courtyard of the management of a south house hotel.

Liam was one-fifth of boyband One Direction and found fame in 2011 after appearing on X-Factor.
