Hit Prime Video series series four is set to hit screens in just two weeks and has recruited a very glamorous farmhand as an alternative to his trusty sidekick The series was filmed while Kaleb, who previously declared he hated leaving his village, was being whisked around Britain to do a nationwide tour, The World According to Kaleb.
But Clarkson's latest addition to Diddly Squat Farm, 24-year-old Harriet Cowan, has been making headlines for more than just her impressive skills with animals and fixing fences. Described as both a nurse and part-time farmer, Harriet quickly made an impression in early teasers - confidently handling livestock feed, giving one piglet a cheeky nickname, welding equipment, and farm fencing.
However, behind the scenes, Harriet's casting has stirred controversy within her own family. Her estranged step-sister, Elina Clifford, has spoken out, claiming a longstanding family rift.
In an interview with , Elina, a chiropodist, accused Harriet of being "self-absorbed" and "fake," warning Jeremy Clarkson to be cautious.
"She loves to be the centre of attention, often at others' expense," Elina said. "She is fake in the way she behaves, so Jeremy Clarkson, beware!"
The tension reportedly stems from Harriet's strained relationship with Elina's mother, Vicky - a trauma nurse - who is married to Harriet's father, farmer Eddy Cowan. Elina alleges that Harriet was "horrible" to her stepmother and caused distress within the family.
Elina says that while the 'sisters' have never lived all together, Harriet has been part of their lives for many years, and even stayed with them while she to Belper High School. She said: "Not many people we know like her and our family has never liked her. My mum finds her behaviour unnecessary."

Elina's older sister, Maddie, a teacher, echoed the sentiment: "We don't have a good relationship with her. Our mum is with her dad now, and there was a lot of drama a couple of years ago. There is a family feud, and Harriet was not being very nice to mum, and it was very upsetting."
Maddie added that while Harriet reportedly maintains close ties with her biological sister Izzy and her mother Jacqui's side of the family, she's been largely estranged from their own.
Both sisters accused Harriet of using her appearance on Clarkson's Farm to boost her online profile, claiming that she's only doing the show for attention as she's "obsessed with herself".
The irony of the two sisters discussing their step-sibling's ego in the press is apparently lost on them.
In addition to slights on her personality, the pair also expressed doubts about Harriet's standing in the local farming community of Belper, Derbyshire, suggesting her rise to fame might attract criticism.
"And the farming community in Derbyshire, where she lives, won't like what she is doing. She is only doing a farming show to boost her social media profile. It is really sad and desperate," Elina said.
Harriet, who is in a relationship with fellow local farmer James Booth, has built a solid online following, with 35,000 fans on TikTok and a growing presence on Instagram. Her bio encourages fans to "come and watch the craziness," and she's already landed a brand deal with cow-print sock company, Country Moos.
Despite the family tension, early clips suggest Harriet is thriving on the farm. Clarkson himself appeared impressed, praising her on camera: "She's brilliant." Kaleb Cooper also made a return in the teaser trailer and was seen getting along with his replacement.
The Express has approached Harriet for comment.
