Meghan Markle has taken to Instagram this weekend with a picture of herself on a beach soaking up the Californian sunshine. In the photograph, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, can be seen running towards the camera with a big smile on her face, wearing sandals, white shorts, an oversized shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat.
With the sea in the background of the photograph, Meghan captioned the post: "That weekend feeling." Prince Harry, 40, and the couple's two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, did not feature in the picture, which is believed to have been taken near their Montecito home.
The post has sparked major fan reaction online, with many commenting on how happy and "glowing" the duchess looks.
One fan wrote on X: "Meghan is living her best life. I can't wait to see what the second half of the year will bring for the Sussex family."
Another said: "Our girl is glowing ! She is happy, thriving and living her best life ! I couldn't be happier for her, she deserves everything."
Someone else commented: "That smile. That confidence."
A fourth said: "She is winning and thriving."
The duchess revealed earlier this year that she is the happiest she has ever been, five years on from quitting royal life with her husband Prince Harry.
The couple, who recently celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary, have called Montecito home since 2020, where they live in a sprawling mansion with their children Archie and Lilibet.
It is believed that the couple have no plans to relocate back to the UK, with both Meghan and Harry having praised the life they are able to live in America.
