Erik ten Hag is attending Roma's clash with Juventus tonight amid speculation that he could be set to land a new job. In a series of videos posted on social media, the former Manchester United boss was spotted entering the Stadio Olimpico before engaging with fans and key personnel.
Ten Hag has been out of work since being sacked by United last October. The axe finally fell after a difficult start to the season, only months after he had been handed a new contract at Old Trafford. The Dutchman, who enjoyed success with Ajax before joining United, could be set to land another major European job, though. Reports suggest that he could become the next Roma head coach.
Claudio Ranieri, the Giallorossi's current boss, will step down at the end of the season. The Premier League-winning former Leicester manager came out of retirement to take the Roma job last November. However, that relationship was only expected to last until this coming summer.
Wide-ranging reports suggest that Ten Hag could be Ranieri's successor.
