A night of celebration soon leads to a night of terror in upcoming scenes on ITV's Coronation Street. Betsy Swain, played by Sydney Martin, is set to mark her 18th birthday with a party to remember.
After being out all night, she heads on to the celebrations, where drinks are flowing and everyone is in good spirits - but not for long. The birthday girl lifts a glass and raises a toast to a photo of her late mum, Becky. But once that's done and dusted, she decides that she has had enough of the party and looks to head back out into town with her friends. But mum, Lisa, played by Vicky Myers, tries to put a stop to it as she questions the teenager about her social life. Sharing a bit more than expected in a rage, Betsy tells Lisa that she slept with Dylan Wilson, played by Liam McCheyne, while shouting that she isn't a little girl anymore.

Later, in the precinct, Betsy leaves a voice message for Dylan and another for Lisa, but before she can finish, there's a loud crash as a stolen car hits something, leaving the youngster screaming in fright.
It is soon revealed that Dylan is in quite a bit of a mess, as he and Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) were the ones behind the wheel of what turns out to be a stolen car - and were spotted by George Shuttleworth, played by Tony Maudsley.
But things go from bad to worse as one resident of Weatherfield ends up seriously injured in hospital, resulting in George confronting Dylan about what he saw - with the youngster denying everything.
Elsewhere in the soap, Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) admits to her lover, Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard), that she can't stop thinking about him.
But then she is left feeling bemused to see his phone ring with the caller ID Dylan, and she starts asking questions.
Under pressure, Carl admits that Brody and Dylan have been working for him, stealing cars to order. How will Abi react?
