Bridgerton fans fear for main star 'missing' from wrap video

Bridgerton enthusiasts have been sent into a tizzy as the announcement came through that the much-anticipated fourth season of the Netflix regency hit wrapped up filming in June.

Netflix proclaimed via X, the platform formerly known as Twitter: "You may now loosen your corsets. That's a wrap on Bridgerton Season 4."

The celebratory clip showcased members of the revered ensemble cast shedding their period finery and bidding adieu to their devoted audience.

However, the absence of Luke Newton-who embodies the charming Colin Bridgerton-sparked consternation amongst the die-hard fans.

Devoted viewers poured into the comment section sharing their trepidation over Colin's no-show, with Jen anxiously typing: "Hey so, I've played this 20x and I keep missing the bit where Colin shows up? ANYWAY rewatching until Colin appears."

A befuddled Victoria queried: "Sooo, where's my homeboy, Colin Bridgerton?!"

PenecolinFan commented: "Love it but I must admit to a feeling of despair at the absence of Colin and Eloise."

@Polin_love0 shared a photo of Colin Bridgerton, saying: "Where is this hottie? And why is he not in the video?!"

Colin Bridgerton aficionados can heave a collective sigh of relief-his character is set to grace the upcoming series.

While the cause for his disappearance from the festive video hasn't been disclosed, it might well be due to the actor's off-day during the shoot.

Claudia Jessie, known for her role as Eloise Bridgerton, was absent from the clip, but she is also confirmed to be making a comeback.

The forthcoming series of Bridgerton will comprise eight episodes, however, fans are unlikely to see the new instalments until the latter part of 2026.

An official release date is still to be announced.
