A bomb threat has grounded all flights at Birmingham Airport, with passengers evacuated from the terminal.
The airport posted on X, formerly Twitter, confirming police were at the scene.
They warned passengers to not come to the airport.
A suspicious vehicle was reported, West Midlands Police says.
Birmingham Airport said on X: "WMP is currently on-site dealing with an incident. Airport operations are currently suspended. Passengers are advised to NOT come to the airport at this time. The Airport's social media channels will be updated as and when the situation changes."
One user posted on X: "We've just landed and can't get off the plane. Some sort of security alert."
Another posted: "My mum and dad are stuck on a plane at Birmingham Airport. They have no idea what's going on, they just got back from Spain."
