Crimes against women are not stopping in Rajasthan. Now in Jodhpur, a girl was called to a birthday party and raped. Intoxicants were mixed in the cake and then she was raped when she was unconscious. This is the seventh incident of atrocities against women within one and a half months. 

Jodhpur. Cases of atrocities against women are increasing in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Now the latest case has come from Basni area of Jodhpur. Here a 15-year-old girl was gang-raped by two 15-year-old minor boys. First, the two boys called the minor on the pretext of a birthday party and then committed the crime.

Police officer Mohammad Safiq says that the victim came with her family and lodged a report of gang rape with the police. According to the report, the victim was at her home on Friday morning when two boys known to her called her and invited her to a restaurant on the pretext of a birthday party.

Brutality was committed by mixing some intoxicating substance in the cake

The victim went to that place with her friend as she knew the boys. Meanwhile, both the boys mixed some intoxicant in the cake and then took her to the room and gang-raped her. When the victim regained consciousness, she went and told the whole thing to her family. Now a case has been registered last night. Today the girl has been given a medical check-up.

CCTV camera footage being scrutinised

Currently, after this incident, the police has registered a case and started investigation. Jodhpur West ACP Chhavi Sharma herself is investigating the case. The police is collecting CCTV camera footage and other facts in the area in search of the accused.

This is the seventh incident of atrocities against women within one and a half months

Let us tell you that this is the seventh incident of cruelty against women within a month and a half. First an 11 year old innocent was raped on 12th August, then a two and a half year old girl was raped on 18th August, a 15 year old minor was raped on 25th August, a 17 year old teenager was gang raped on 30th August and a 15 year old girl was raped on 2nd September and an 8 year old girl was raped on 14th September in Jodhpur. Although the police have also arrested the accused in most of the cases. But the continuously increasing cases of cruelty against women remain a matter of concern.
