Taylor Swift showed off her engagement ring whilst announcing that her partner, Travis Kelce, had proposed to her. The couple shared the news with fans in a joint post today alongside photos from the special occasion.
Taylor, 35, and Travis, also 35, who went public with their relationship two years ago, gave a glimpse into the proposal in photos uploaded by them on Instagram earlier. They were seen surrounded by flowers in a garden, with the photos showing them embracing after getting engaged.
One photo provided a close-up of the ring that Travis presented to the Grammy Award winner. The engagement ring features a silver diamond on a gold band, with the jewellery sparkling on Taylor's finger as she held hands with her fiancé.

The ring was also visible in other photos shared by the couple, including one that showed Taylor and Travis hugging. She had her hand, with the ring on display, placed against his head as they embraced after getting engaged.
According to TMZ, Travis helped design the ring. The outlet reports that it has learned that the engagement ring is an Old Mine Brilliant Cut by designer Kindred Lubeck, adding that sources say the jeweller worked with Travis on the design.
Another photo showed NFL star Travis, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, down on one knee whilst proposing to Taylor. The floral scenery, including an arch, were seen around the couple as they celebrated the special occasion.
Alongside the photos, they wrote in the caption: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married." The caption ended with a TNT emoji. The post included Taylor's song So High School from her album The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology, released last year.
Taylor and Travis' joint post has amassed more than 5 million likes within an hour of being uploaded. Fans have shared their thoughts on X, including on the engagement ring itself. One person wrote in a post: "This ring is so TAYLOR."
Another said: "That's a big rock." A third commented following the news of their engagement: "Wow the ring is absolutely stunning! Wishing them a lifetime of love & happiness." Someone else said: "That looks expensive."
Some fans have suggested that the engagement ring resembles a logo used when Taylor announced in May that she now owns "all of the music" that she's ever made, following a dispute over her back catalogue. One person tweeted today: "Is no one going to point out Taylor's ring looks like the logo from her masters announcement."
As reported by the Associated Press, the news broke in the middle of the Kansas City Chiefs' media availability, though after head coach Andy Reid had departed. Defensive end Mike Danna was then left field questions about it.

Mike said about the engagement: "Man, it's incredible. I was caught off guard but you know, great for them. But you know, great for them. That's a blessing. Any time you find that type of joy, blessing, love - that's a beautiful thing."
The news has also prompted reaction from Travis' teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes, who responded on social media today. The couple are thought to have become close to Travis and Taylor over the years.
Patrick shared the engagement post on his Instagram Story and added three red hearts. Brittany wrote when she shared Taylor's post herself: "Two of the most genuine people meet & fall in love. Just so happy for these two."
