Indian actress and model Shefali Jariwala has tragically died as tributes for the Bollywood star pour in.
Shefali, best known for her appearance on Bigg Boss and her iconic role in the music video Kaanta Laga, passed away at the age of 42, triggering an outpouring of tributes to the Bollywood star. She rose to fame in the early 2000s after her starring role in the popular music video.
Jariwala reportedly died at Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai on Thursday night after suffering cardiac arrest, according to Indian news outlets. However, her cause of death has not officially been confirmed yet and according to local media her body has been sent for post-mortem to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai.

Late Saturday night, her husband Parag Tyagi was reportedly seen leaving the hospital, looking devastated as he made his way home alone. For now, no detailed family statement has been released.
Grieving family, friends and fans have shared tributes online with actor Aly Goni writing on X, "Shocked and saddened to hear about Shefali Jariwala’s sudden demise. Life is so unpredictable. Rest in peace."
Rapper Mika Singh posted a photo of Jariwala on Instagram, captioning the photo: "I’m deeply shocked, saddened, and feeling a heavy heart… Our beloved star and my dearest friend has left us. Still can’t believe it. You will always be remembered for your grace, smile, and spirit."
Tehseen Poonawalla, also part of Bigg Boss 13, wrote, "Absolutely stunned to hear my friend Shefali Jariwala is no more. I last met her at a party. Life is so short. She was in #BiggBoss13 with me. Incredible how #SidharthShukla and now she, from my season, are no more. Sending love and healing to her loved ones!"
One fan shared on X: "Gone too soon... Shefali Jariwala's sudden passing is a heartbreaking reminder that even a fit body can’t always guard against silent killers like cardiac arrest. Health is so much more than just what we eat or how often we hit the gym stress, genetics, and hidden conditions matter too. Stay aware. Listen to your body."
Another heartbroken fan wrote: "Just saw the news of Shefali jariwala. Life's so uncertain. May her soul rest in peace." Jariwala last posted to her Instagram account jus three days ago, sharing a range of images from a photoshoot with the caption: "Bring it on baby"
