His net worth this year, along with his family’s overall wealth, is now a staggering £9.8billion, down from £10.1billion in 2024. Despite losing hundreds of millions, he is still far wealthier than his own godfather, none other than , who is worth £640million in the latest standings (up £30m from last year).
Hugh, 34, was the richest person in the UK under 40 in 2024, the same year as when he married Olivia Henson.

The source of his extraordinary wealth is from being a property heir and it was at the Duke’s family home at Eaton Hall, near Chester, where he became engaged to Olivia in 2023.
He inherited his title, land and property portfolio at just 25 after his father died in August 2016. His sprawling ancestral home, Easton Hall, has been in his family since the 1400s.
It is where Hugh grew up with his mum and dad, Gerald and Natalia, and his three sisters, Lady Tamara, Lady Edwina and Lady Viola.
Billionaire Hugh, the seventh Duke of Westminster who married in front of members like and , is now expecting a child of his own with Olivia and they will reportedly settle down in Eaton Hall.

Eaton Hall is also home to Grosvenor Farms which produces 32 million litres of fresh milk a year and 45,000 tonnes of forage for animal feed and 4,500 tonnes of grains and oilseeds.
Another man who lost significant amounts of money in the 2025 Sunday Times Rich list was . His losses were a reported £6.4billion. However, the good news for the co-owner is that he still has a cool £17billion to his name.
