Netflix's Building The Band, which features as a judge will be released on the streaming service this summer.
The show finished filming before Liam's untimely death in October, and there had been concerns on how they would proceed. Now, Netflix's Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria has announced a release window for the new show.
“People will be obsessed with Building the Band coming this summer, hosted by AJ McLean,” Bajaria said. “Contestants will be judged and mentored by , with Kelly Rowland and the late Liam Payne.”

The show will see Liam guest judge alongside Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger. The three will judge the competition which will attempt to form a major new music group - with a twist.
Following a similar format to the streaming giant's hit Love Is Blind (without the dating), the bandmembers won't be able to see each other before the new group is put together. Is chemistry enough to make them a success? And when the bands finally do meet, how will looks, choreography, and style come into play?
The streamer teases "plenty of drama, next-level artistry, and unforgettable performances." Alongside Liam, Kelly and Nicole will be host, Backstreet Boys star AJ McLean.
The show wrapped up filming in late August, as the judges attended three live shows in Manchester's Aviva Studios. Just two months later, Liam tragically died as he fell from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires.
Liam rose to fame in 2010 when he auditioned for the as a solo act. Unfortunately, he didn't make it past the bootcamp round. However, judges Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger saw potential in the star, alongside Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and .
Despite not knowing each other before the show the fivesome sailed through to the live finals, finishing in third place. However, it wasn't the end for them as they went on to achieve worldwide stardom. In 2015, Zayn broke hearts across the globe when he announced he was leaving the band and less then a year later, the band announced they'd be taking an extended hiatus.
