Kerry Katona has shared her true feelings on the infamous Atomic Kitten 'feud' which has seen her estranged from her bandmates for over two decades.
The singer, 44, who rose to fame in the band back in 1998 and was in the group until 2001, was a forming member of the group alongside Natasha Hamilton and Liz McClarnon and was replaced by Jenny Frost after exiting the band.
Likening the group's dynamics to that of the Spice Girls, after the group failed to reunite at Mel B's wedding this weekend, Kerry explained in her weekly New! Magazine column that she thought it was a 'shame' the likes of Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner weren't in attendance to the nuptials.
She wrote: "I read last week that Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner weren't to be at Mel B’s wedding, which is a shame. It would be sad if they weren’t going due to a fallout, as the Spice Girls have so much history.

"It’s like me and Atomic Kitten – I do wish I was closer to the girls because we had amazing experiences together. But sometimes it is what it is, and I’m sure Mel’s wedding day was amazing."
The band's debut album, Right Now, was released in 2000 and reached number one in the UK charts, and the following year Kerry left the group after falling pregnant with her first child and was replaced by Jenny Frost.

The band have had several reunions since, all of which Kerry hasn't been a part of. Kerry has previously recalled how the band used to fight back in the day before she was replaced by Jenny.
She admitted: "I remember some of the fights we had in Atomic Kitten back in the day. Once, Liz punched me from behind after we had a little row. I was furious and got my own back.
"I made her get changed in the toilets at SMTV Live, then I stamped on her feet while we were up on stage singing Whole Again."
However, appearing to let bygones be bygones, Kerry has said multiple times over recent years how she'd 'love' to reconnect with her bandmates and claims to have reached out to them several times.
In 2023, following the death of S Club 7 star Paul Cattermole, Kerry wrote in her column: "When something like this happens, it brings home how I feel about my relationship with the Atomic Kitten girls.
"It’s really sad that we don’t talk. I’ve reached out to them so many times. Life is too short."
