Netflix has introduced a whole host of new titles for fans to enjoy this September.
The colder and darker nights are soon drawing in as we head into the autumn months, and TV lovers may be looking for something new to add to their watch list that they can binge watch this weekend. Whether you're looking for something light hearted and fun to something more intense, Netflix has something for everyone.
The streaming giant regularly updates the titles on the platform, bringing new favourites to old time classics. But if you are looking for something to binge watch this September, we have put together five things to watch based on the top 10 trending today list on Netflix (September 13).

Tyler Perry's Beauty in Black
A brand new season has landed on Netflix as it follows two women on very different paths in life, and a collision course toward each other. The first season premiered in October 2024 with the second part landing in March 2025.
But now, the second season landed on screens on September 11 as it has been branded a must watch. Netflix teases: "Kicked out as a teen and trafficked into sex work, Kimmie's determined to change her fate. But escaping Chicago's seedy underworld means risking it all."
On Rotten Tomatoes, one fan said: "Addicted !!!!! It’s good but lots of violence." Another added: "It was addicting. The end of each episode left you hanging and needing to know what happened next. On season 2 now, and the shock value is great."
WednesdayAfter a huge wait for fans, season 2 of Wednesday launched back in August, with fans having to wait until September 3 for the second half. But it remains a firm favourite amongst viewers who are loving this fresh take on the Addams Family.
A brand new season brings with it a brand new mystery and plenty of twists and turns to keep you wanting more. Netflix teases about season one: "When a deliciously wicked prank gets Wednesday expelled, her parents ship her off to Nevermore Academy, the boarding school where they fell in love."
AccusedStarring Christopher Eccleston and Benjamin Smith, this unique series is an anthology series where each episode focuses on a different character as they await trial. It follows their choices and circumstances around the crime they have been accused of.
The series also stars Stephen Graham, Olivia Coleman and Peter Capaldi in a star studded cast, as it is described by fans as a "hidden gem". One fan wrote on IMDb: " By the end my heart was racing and I was super disappointed that I won't get to see more of the same characters, yet super excited to see future episodes with new characters."
Netflix teases: "This dramatic anthology series leaves it up to viewers to decide whether six subjects awaiting trial in court have been rightfully accused."
HostageWith the country in crisis, the series follows a newly elected Prime Minister who soon faces turmoil when her husband is kidnapped. She turns to the visiting French president for help, only to find she too is being blackmailed.
Starring Suranne Jones, Julie Delpy and Corey Mylchreest, fans have been binging this watch in one sitting. One fan wrote on Google reviews: "This fictitious DRAMA was full of suspense and the thrills, we all look for. Fantastic casting, well acted out."
Another added: "Hostage is an adrenaline-inducing political thriller that captivates audiences from the first episode."
Anne Rice's Mayfair WitchesThe first season of Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches is available to stream on Netflix. Across eight episodes, it follows a renowned neurosurgeon who discovers she is a heir to a family of witches which has been haunted by a sinister presence for generations.
Based on the novel Lives of the Mayfair Witches by Anne Rice, one Google reviewer said: "From the first episode, I was hooked—the storytelling unfolds in such an intriguing way, keeping me captivated as each new piece of the mystery falls into place."
Described by Netflix as "imaginative and suspenseful", the streaming giant teases: "Troubled by newfound powers, a young neurosurgeon seeks out her mysterious birth family, but what she discovers among the Mayfairs is a dark legacy."
