When she confronted John about the truth, he said he didn't want Aaron to know and kept the secret to herself. However, a chance meeting between Mack and Connor led to the rival asking about his "deepest darkest secrets".

Instead of being able to get in, he was stopped from entering by Mack. He ordered him to get away from the village and never come back, but has Mack taken on the wrong person in John and he is now in danger himself?
John has been responsible for multiple heartbreaks and drama in the village so far including killing Nate, as well as framing Ella Forster for targeting Chas and Liam, and he also made Jacob have an allergic reaction so he could save him. What will happen to Mack now he knows the truth - and is he in more danger than he ever realised?
Warning there was lots of big things to come, Oliver - who plays John - said: "Yes, there's lots of big stuff coming up. I guess with the sort of web that John's woven for himself in the back of his mind, he’s anticipating people to start being suspicious, secrets to come out and people to start finding things out.
"He's probably got a few set pieces prepared in his mind for dealing with all of this, but really what he's had to do so far is just kind of think on his feet and adapt to situations around him. I'm sure this will all change soon. And the jeopardy at stake for him now is that he's got his whole life in Village. He's got the love of his life, Aaron, he's got a family that he never had. He does not want to lose all that, under any circumstances. There's going to be a few battles ahead, I think."
