Danny Jones shares first photo of wife Georgia since he kissed Maura Higgins

Danny Jones has shared the first photo of his wife Georgia Horsley since his kiss with his I'm A Celeb co-star Maura Higginscame to light.

The couple are working on rebuilding their nine-year marriage after McFly star Danny, 39, shares a drunken snog with 34-year-old Maura during a wild night out partying at this year's Brit Awards in February.

Since then, he and Georgia, 38, have avoided sharing snaps of each other on social media - and Georgia briefly moved out of their family home to get some space, though she has since returned.

But it looks like things are finally looking up for the couple after Georgia was seen in a pic Danny shared to Instagram on Sunday. The summer snap showed their seven-year-old son Cooper running around the garden next to a paddling pool.

Georgia's arm was seen in the photo showing she was there too and they are clearly getting in some much needed family time. Danny shared the photo - taken by a pal - to his Instagram stories, which was captioned: 'A weekend well spent.'

Putting on a united front, Georgia shared the same snap to her own Instagram stories. It comes two weeks after the former Miss England broke her own social media silence where Danny was concerned by paying tribute to her husband on Father's Day.

Sharing a snap with her own dad first, Georgia shared a sweet snap of son Cooper hugging dad Danny. She cutely captioned the post: "For the Dads. Happy Father's Day."

That marked the first time Danny has appeared on Georgia's grid since the Maura kiss scandal, which saw him issue a grovelling public apology to his wife.

In a statement, Danny said: "Hello everyone, sorry it's taken me a while to post this but I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me. I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we'll continue to deal with this privately." He added to fans: "I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny."

After the Maura kiss came to light, Georgia temporarily moved out of their family home. And insiders claimed that the entire ordeal has been "embarrassing" for the mother-of-one, who tied the knot with Danny in 2014.

Back in March, a source claimed that while "they may still be married, they are not together and she is still working out what she wants to do." But it's thought Georgia is now back living in the family home in West London and has returned to host her podcast, Mum's The Word! with pal Kelsey Parker.

A source told the Mirror in April: "Georgia is returning to face the music after weeks away. She took some time for herself after the incident blew up, but now she's ready to talk."

While Danny has always wanted to sort things out. "He has made it clear he will do anything to make it work. He loves Georgia and wants their marriage to get back on track," a source told The Sun.
