Coronation Street have shared some behind-the-scenes snaps of 's last day following in tonight's emotional episode.
On Monday night's , brutally attacked Craig with a baseball bat after the policeman stopped him for drink driving. He was then found by Maria Connor who called an ambulance, as paramedics rushed him to intensive care.
Unfortunately, he doesn't make it due to serious complications, leading him to ultimately die from his injuries. Emotional scenes saw Kirk, Maria and Asha as they watched through the window.

The BTS snaps however, are sure to put a smile back on Corrie fans' faces, as ever the joker he is, Colson couldn't resit cracking a joke, even when he was covered in fake blood.

, who plays Maria Connor could also be seen smiling alongside Colson as she held up his head in between takes.
In other emotional pictures, the pair could be seen hugging as Colson shot some of his final scenes. Samia joined the soap in 2000, 11 years before Colson's debut as Craig. Having both been regulars on the soap since they joined, the pair have worked closely together for 14 years.
Following his exit, Colson has opened up about how he really felt filming those emotional scenes. Despite being on the cobbles for 14 years, Colson revealed he was victim to some last minute nerves as the time came to film his final scenes.
However, Corrie legend , who plays Roy Copper, was on hand to save the day. "You get all the way up to your last shot, and you know it's your last shot," Colson explained.
"I've seen so many people leave, I've seen so many final speeches, I've seen it all so many times and the camera was on me and David Neilson behind the counter at Roy's Rolls. I turned to him and I went, 'I'm really nervous,' and I was borderline shaking. I could feel like the atmosphere building and I can feel people coming in.
"David just pulled me in, whispered in my ear and I was like, yeah, yeah. Like, this is it. They called action, Duncan [Foster]called cut. They checked it, and then the next thing I know, people were clapping, and the studio is kind of full. I was like, wow, done."
