The BBC has confirmed that Amy Dowden will not appear in the results show due to "unforeseen circumstances."
Following her and JB Gill's performance on Saturday night's Strictly Come Dancing, bosses were forced to call 999 after Amy felt ill backstage.
A representative for Amy stated: "Amy was feeling unwell, so an ambulance was called as a precaution.
"She is feeling much better and would like to thank the Strictly family for their love and concern. We request Amy's privacy in matters of health is kindly respected."
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed in a statement: "We were called just after 9pm on Saturday to attend a medical emergency at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.
"An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient, an adult female, was taken to Barnet Hospital for further care."
Amy and JB, who were dressed as Scarecrows for Halloween week, received 32 points from the judges for their Foxtrot.
When receiving their feedback, Motsi Mabuse told JB: "I feel like you have gone from strength to strength, you have spent time on your fundamentals and sometimes they take time.
"I loved your transitions, they were on point and you guys are such a strong team and you see that during the dances. You see, there is a connection, you see that you're leading, you see you are doing the job a man is supposed to do."
went on to praise JB for nailing a "difficult move" and told him: "That was simply amazing. Your ballroom frame was very impressive."
Despite agreeing with Shirley, Anton du Beke said: "You did lose shape if I am being brutal. This is your first ballroom dance since the first week, and everything that you have worked on is standing you in such good stead."
Last weekend, Amy and JB landed in the dance-off but were saved by the judges, meaning Paul Merson was sent home.
This week, another celebrity couple will be given the boot from the BBC competition.
The remaining ten couples will take to the dancefloor next week for the brand-new icons-themed week when returns on Saturday at 6.30pm on One.
