India Women's Cricket Team: The ODI tri-series is to be played between India, Sri Lanka and South Africa women's cricket team from Sunday, March 27, for which the BCCI has announced the Indian team. It is worth noting that in this series, once again captain Harmanpreet Kaur will be seen leading the team, while the responsibility of the vice-captain will be on the shoulders of Smriti Mandhana. On the other hand, star batter Shafali Verma has not been selected in the team.
Shefali Verma did not get a place in the team
Once again the name of Team India's star batter Shafali Verma is not in the team selected by the BCCI. Let us tell you that Shefali is in great form and recently she also scored the most runs as an Indian in the WPL 2025 tournament played in India. In this tournament, she scored 304 runs in 9 matches at an average of 38 and a strike rate of more than 150, however despite this she did not get a place in the Indian team. Shefali played her last ODI for the country against New Zealand in the month of October last year.
Renuka Singh Thakur and Titas Sadhu are also not included in the team
Team India's star fast bowler Renuka Singh Thakur and Titas Sadhu are also not part of the team for the triangular series. It is worth noting that both these players are injured, due to which they were not selected in the team.

Also know that in this triangular ODI series, all the teams will play four matches each, after which the two teams that are on top will qualify for the final. The final match of the series will be played in Colombo on 11 May.
