If you are traveling on a train, then you should know that you can use the middle berth in the train between 10 pm to 6 am. During this period, if another passenger prevents you from using the middle berth, you can complain about it to the TTE.

A person from the middle and upper berth cannot sit on the lower berth of a passenger after 10 pm. According to the rules of Indian Railways, you cannot talk loudly while traveling on a train.

Talking loudly on a train can disturb the sleep of fellow passengers. If they complain about this to the railway staff, action can be taken against you.
