Many people today have their bikes. It is a very convenient means of travel. With the help of a motorcycle, you can easily get ahead in long traffic jams. Not only this but with the help of a bike, you can also travel on narrow streets. Due to this, a lot of time is saved in traveling by bike. A lot of fuel is also saved by traveling by bike. It is worth noting that a few years ago when we used to buy a bike, it used to have a switch to turn off the headlight.

However, the bikes that we are buying today do not have any feature to turn off the headlight while riding the bike. Have you ever thought about the question that why the headlights always remain on while riding a bike? If not, then today we are going to tell you about this.

The reason behind the headlights always being on while riding new bikes is the change made in two-wheelers on April 1, 2017. After the implementation of this change, you cannot turn off the headlights while driving the bike.

However, you can change the headlights to high beam or low beam while driving the bike. For a long time, accidents related to two-wheelers were coming to the fore.

To reduce this, the Union Transport Ministry had recommended the introduction of an automatic headlight feature. Often, while driving on the road, we are not able to see small vehicles.

Keeping this in mind, it was decided to always keep the headlights on in the bike so that the visibility of the bikes could be known from a distance. By keeping the headlights on, the focus of the other vehicle comes on the bike from a distance.
