Nizamabad (Telangana) June 30: In a tragic incident, a seven-year-old boy reportedly died after being run over by an SUV in Telangana's Nizamabad district. The horrific incident was caught on the CCTV camera installed in the area and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. It can be seen in the video that the child was run over by the SUV while playing on the road.
The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday (June 29) afternoon in Mujahidnagar area of Nizamabad district. The boy identified as Qayyum was playing outside his house. Suddenly, a black-coloured SUV which seemed to a Toyota Innova took a steep turn and the driver failed to notice the child playing in the middle of the road.

The driver did not stop the car and run over Qayyum. The video shows that the front tire of the car went over the child. A man came running from behind and pulled the kid from beneath the car and another person tried to open the door of the driver side. However, the driver did not stop and fled the spot after the incident.
Qayyum's family members rushed him to a nearby hospital. The hospital authorities declared the child brought dead. The police reached the spot and registered a complaint in connection with the matter.

They are investigating the CCTV footage of the area and the cameras installed in the nearby areas to identify the culprit.
