Actress and model Shefali Jariwala passed away at the age of 42, leaving the entertainment industry in shock. While the exact cause of her death has not been officially confirmed, some reports suggest a possible cardiac arrest. On Friday, police stated that her post-mortem examination had been completed, though the cause of death remains inconclusive. Now, Shefali's ex-husband, musician Harmeet Singh, one half of the popular Meet Brothers duo, penned an emotional note remembering her after her sudden demise.
Harmeet, who is currently in Europe, took to his Instagram story on Friday evening and shared a photo of Shefali, describing her death as ‘one of the most shocking moments' of his life. He added, "I'm absolutely shattered and in disbelief after hearing about Shefali's sudden and untimely demise. We shared few beautiful years together a long time ago memories I'll always hold close to my heart. My deepest condolences to her parents - Satish ji and Sunita ji, her husband Parag and her sister Shivani. Being away in Europe right now, it's painful for me not to be able to be there for the last rites.
"Gone far too soon. I pray to the Almighty for her soul to rest in peace, and strength to the family during this unimaginable time," shared Harmeet.

Harmeet's brother, Manmeet, also mourned Shefali's death on social media. He shared a heartfelt note expressing his grief, remembering her as a warm and kind soul gone too soon.
He wrote, "Rest in peace Shef. Only God knows why he called you back so soon. Will always cherish the amazing moments with you. May Waheguru be with you and your onward journey."

Shefali and Harmeet tied the knot in 2004, but their marriage ended in 2009. Later, in 2014, the Kaanta Laga star got married again to actor Parag Tyagi.
