The river was overflowing due to continuous rainfall in the region. Water was flowing rapidly over a road diversion built on the river, yet the pilgrims did not stop and decided to walk through the floodwaters.
The fast-moving water reaches up to their knees, making it a highly dangerous situation. One wrong step could have led to a major accident.
Locals watching the video expressed shock and concern, saying such actions during floods are unsafe.
