An incident of bees attacking devotees who went to the Anjaneri mountain in Trimbakeshwar taluka of Nashik district on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti took place on Saturday around 8am.
This attack caused a commotion outside the temple premises. It is being reported that 8 to 10 devotees were injured in this bee attack. While going to the temple for darshan, the devotees were suddenly attacked by bees, causing them to run for some time.

Meanwhile, the devotees injured in the bee attack were immediately shifted to the Primary Health Centre in Anjaneri by ambulance.
According to the information from the locals of Anjaneri, the bees attacked the devotees near the entrance of the fort.
Anjaneri Mountain is considered to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman and is named after his mother, Anjani.
