Mumbai: On Friday evening, some children in Dahisar found a pistol in the garbage. Mistaking it for a toy, they accidentally fired a round while playing. Fortunately, no one was injured. A police officer said that there were four cartridges in the pistol and one round had been fired. “We are investigating who discarded the pistol in this manner,” the officer said.
Some children were playing near Gate No. 2 in Ghartan Pada, Dahisar, on Friday evening. Around 7 pm, one of the children found the pistol in the garbage. Thinking it might be a fake toy, he picked it up out of curiosity. However, a bullet accidentally went off. The sound caused panic in the area, but fortunately, no one was hurt.
