'Magical Work These Two Giants Have Created': Ayan Mukerji Can't Stop Praising War 2 Actors Hrithik Roshan And Jr NTR

On Tuesday (May 20, 2025), the teaser of War 2 was released, and it received a mixed response. However, it was a treat for Hrithik Roshan fans as the actor looked super hot in it. War 2 also stars Jr NTR and Kiara Advani, and the latter also stole the show with her bikini look. Now, on Friday, director Ayan Mukerji, took to Instagram to share a note for the team of the film.

He posted, "With the Release of our Movie’s Teaser a few days ago, and 12 weeks to go before our Big Beautiful Movie hits Theatres, feels like the right time for me to share some thoughts… While our movie has so much to offer our audiences with its big-screen spectacle energy, today I want to draw attention to what inspires Me most about War 2… That the Core of this movie is a very powerful and dramatic Story - which really surprised me the first time I heard its script, and has been extremely exciting (and challenging) for me to bring to life! (sic)."

"And so, as we receive all this love and conversation for our first look of the film, I am longing for everyone to experience the actual journey of this movie’s story - which I believe to be, a new and deeper dive into the spy universe genre ! But since this is not the time to give it all away :) and since this is actually the first time I’m saying anything officially about directing War 2, I just want to put out some love for the amazing team I have had the privilege of collaborating with on this movie (sic)," he added.

The filmmaker, while praising the film's team, wrote, "With a special mention here to my lovely Kiara who is a ray of sunshine in the movie and a dear friend in my life today… But especially - the 3 Key Forces who set the foundation for me to build this ambitious movie on! The Absolutely Amazing Leadership of Mr Aditya Chopra - from whom I have learnt so much over the last two years - And who gave me this incredible opportunity to collaborate with the once-in-a-lifetime duo of - Mr. Hrithik Roshan and NTR! (sic)."

War 2 Release Date

War 2 is slated to release during Independence Day weekend, and everyone is expecting that the film will take the box office by storm. However, let's hope that the trailer and the songs turn out to be better than than teaser.
