Amid rising global tensions and flood of misinformation on social, the Press Information Bureau’s (PIB) fact-check unit stepped in to debunk yet another false narrative this time involving India’s alleged role in a U.S. military operation against Iran.
In a post on X, the fact-check unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) debunked false claims circulating on social media regarding the use of Indian airspace by the United States. Several social media accounts alleged that Indian airspace was used by the U.S. to launch aircraft against Iran during Operation Midnight Hammer.

However, PIB clarified that the claim is completely false.
“Indian airspace was not used by the United States during Operation Midnight Hammer,” PIB stated, labeling the viral posts as fake.
