Yash Raj Films (YRF), one of India’s leading film studios, has announced that its upcoming spy thriller War 2 will be released globally in IMAX. The film is scheduled to debut on August 14 in IMAX theatres across key international markets including North America, the Middle East, the UK and Europe, Australasia, Africa, and SouthEast Asia, alongside its domestic release in India.
War 2 is the latest installment in the YRF Spy Universe, which includes films such as Pathaan, Tiger 3, and the original War. The 2023 release Pathaan was one of the highest-grossing IMAX titles in India, highlighting the franchise’s strong international following.
Marking 50 days to War 2, YRF today released new posters of Hrithik Roshan, NTR and Kiara Advani with the IMAX announcement.
